City of Bozeman Unified Development Code (UDC) Update

The February 2025 monthly Gallatin Water Collaborative discussion centered on the City of Bozeman’s Unified Development Code (UDC) update. The UDC is a centralized guiding document for the regulations around land use and development standards in the City of Bozeman. Presenters included Katherine Berry (GWC Water Policy Manager), Lily McLane (GWC Watershed Restoration Director), Connor Parrish (GMTU Project Manager), Alzada Roche (WGM Group Environmental Scientist), Kevin Haggerty and Sue Duncan (Gallatin Valley Irrigators, AGAI Board Members), and Becky Clements (GCD District Administrator).

Goals of this session: 

• Share information about water resource issues that are relevant to the UDC.

• Develop holistic and well-informed recommendations for water resource management.
